13 Wks Pregnant

and still going strong! We got the results of our first trimester screen and they were phenomenal. The baby has a 1 in 6900 chance of having down syndrome and a 1 in 10,000 chance in having Trisonomy 21! Dr Blake said it doesn't get any better than that. I am so happy and relieved about that. I still feel great. I really wouldn't know I was pregnant except for the wonderful acne and bloat. I am still able to fit in all my regular clothes - I seem to be much smaller this go around :) I am hoping to keep in them as long as possible since I got so sick of maternity clothes by the time I delivered Will. Our Weekend Trip to Katy

This weekend we loaded up the truck to go house shopping. Jared, Leigh, and precious Addie were gracious enough to let us stay with them while we shopped. Will absolutely adored Addie - it was fun to watch and gave me hope he will be okay when his little sibling arrives. And the big news is.....

WE FOUND A HOUSE

We close on April 1st but move in day isn't until mid June (they have a kid in school). How exciting is that!!! We couldn't be more thrilled. The fun thing is that it wasn't supposed to be on the market for another week but since our realtor was the seller's agent he showed it to us early - and it was PERFECT! It has a huge backyard, all wood/tile floors, two stories, 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bath, a study, a game room, the whole works. We are just so excited. Here are a few pictures of our trip.




And now the house! I am just so excited :) I don't have any good ones of the bedrooms but you get the jist of what it looks like. They people we are buying it from put tile in the downstairs main living area/kitchen is tile as a way to dogproof but the master downstairs and all the upstairs is dark hardwood flooring. Pray that nothing goes wrong with this deal - it is PERFECT for us. The only thing that would stand in the way at this point is the appraisal. It already has passed inspections.

Today is Jake's 28th birthday! We celebrated by getting to see our new little bean this morning, eating a fabulous lunch at Wing Stop and then an awesome dinner together at Red Robin. I hope he had fun. I love you Jake and couldn't imagine not being with you. Happy birthday baby.

Will is growing so fast!

This week he has just grown so much and learned how to do so many new things! You can see his little brain just churning. This week Will:

*learned how to open the dryer door
*tries to open the door with the keys
*last night he heard the dogs at the door, he pointed and said "do-y"!!
*says "daddy" all the time to Jake and actually means Daddy (well this isn't really new)
*gets the nail clippers out of the drawer and try to clip his toenails
*has started dancing whenever music comes on the tv
*tries to put everything into the trash can (not always a good thing - like my gameboy)

All this in just a week! I can't believe it. It was amazing to see this transformation. This is such a fun stage we are going through. We are also smack dab into mommy phase. I can't even take a nap and have Will be awake because I have to be in the room with him or he has to have access to me at all times or he throws a major tantrum. Jake can't calm him down. I love it secretly - well not so secretly I guess - lol. We are doing well on the weening process. We are down to two times a day! YAY! I am hoping the last two go just as smooth.
