Will's First School Assignment

His first school assignment is due Friday and it is supposed to include a family portrait. Well, we got creative. Here it is!!!

5 years and counting!

Best 5 years of my life - can't wait to see what the future holds. It sure has been a wild one - 3 states and 4 houses - oh - and 3 PRECIOUS kids. We managed to lug a bottle of champagne we saved from our wedding and opened it up - it still is delicious! We even busted out our wedding flutes :) After all that moving we weren't so sure it would still be good.
I am so thankful to have Jacob as my husband. He has taught me that I am worth so much more than I ever thought and to stick up for myself. I could not have done it without him. He is absolutely the perfect match for me and I couldn't ask for anyone better. I love him more than he will ever know - although I do tell him all the time so he does have some idea :) Here is to another bajillion years with him!!!

Happy Birthday Baby Girl!

My baby girl is 2!! I just can't believe it. What a beauty she is - both inside and out. Her personality is just so much fun! She constantly has us laughing. She has so much love inside her little heart for her brothers too. She loves to give Charlie hugs and kisses and play with Will. She constantly asks for her friend Will or Daddy whenever they leave the room and then says how much she loves them. She is so sweet.
We had a great day for her. We went to the pediatrician for her well exam - she is super healthy! She is 36" tall (95%) and weighs 30lbs (85%). It is no wonder she is already in some 3T stuff (depending on the brand). She speaks in full sentences now and I love hearing her talk. All day she kept singing the birthday song to herself. It cracked us up! She loves music - the other day I caught her playing Jake's bass while singing. I think she is going to take after her daddy.
We did take her to the zoo and she loved seeing all the animals. She kept making monkey sounds to the monkeys and saying "hi" to them over and over. They were coming right up to the glass so she was super excited. She loved opening all her presents and playing with all her new toys. And when I asked her what her favorite part of her birthday was she says "cake". She is easy to please. Love our little Carebear!

Houston, we have a sitter!

I am officially calling it - Charlie can sit :) He is still not sure about it and concentrates really hard but he is getting the hang of it. He is growing up so fast! I love my little man <3!
