Carolyn's 4 Year Appt

We had Bear's 4 year well visit today!  She is doing great.  She is 43" tall (98%) and is 41.4lbs (88%).  She passed her hearing and vision tests too!  There were no shots this time around - phew! Next year though she gets a ton so I will be sending Jake with her - lol.  The pediatrician did finally agree with me that we need to get her evaluated for her speech with the public school system and that if they didn't get that rolling fast enough then he will be more than happy to refer us to a private clinic.  I have been asking them for over a year now about it!  I am getting that ball rolling today. She also got a stye in her eye yesterday (her second - the first was over the summer) and he gave us a prescription cream for that.  You can see in the below picture how her right eye is swollen compared to the left one.  Poor baby!  It hurts her too.  It is caused by clogged tear ducts.  She is doing fantastic though and growing right on track!  I love my baby girl!

Arboretum with Grandma

After school today, we took the kids to lunch and then to play at the Arboretum.  They love the little play area and I love looking at all the plants so it is a win all around!  Grandma enjoyed it too!

Happy 4th Birthday Carolyn!

I love all the sass and spunk she has brought into our lives! She loves skirts and dresses and all things princess.  She won't wear jean at all!  Her current favorite princess is Rapunzel but she isn't too picky.  She loves wearing her little princess dresses around all the time!  Carolyn loves doing arts and crafts too!  She takes it very serious and she works very hard at it.  It is fun to watch her and see how she has progressed all throughout the last year.  Carolyn is such a fun and loving girl (well when she is in the mood - lol).  We just love her so much!
We had a special day all day long just for her!  She chose strawberry ice-cream and pumpkin french toast for breakfast and she was in heaven.  We then took her and the vG kids to Build-A-Bear in MOA and let them build some bears.  That was fun.  Carolyn picked ou the Princess bear with a Rapunzel dress, Will picked out a black bear with a Thor outfit, Ava picked up a red panda with an asian outfit, Charlie picked out a puppy with a Twins tshirt and Miles picked out a dinosaur.  It was a lot of fun and the kids really enjoyed it.  We then went on to Rainforest Cafe where we had lunch and then cake!  Carolyn picked out a Brave cake.  For dinner, Carolyn picked out spaghetti for dinner and she got to Skype with Grandee, Uncle Zack, Aunt Kimmee, ZJ and Zoey.  She really enjoyed that!  I hope our Princess had such a special day.
The door is all decorated!

Apple Picking and Emma Krumbees!

Grandma Wagner joined us this week and today we decided to head out for some Fall fun!  We had originally planned to go to the Ren Fair but the line just to get in to the parking lot was ridiculous so we changed our plans and kept driving out to Emma Krumbees!  It was so much fun!  We have never picked apples before and the kids loved it.  Heck - I did too!  We got a big bag full of apples and I plan on canning some jars of applesauce and apple butter.  I am so excited! We then went over to their Scarecrow Festival and let the kids run around and get tired.  It was a great time!
