Happy Father's Day to Jacob

Man, I sure hope that Jacob knows how much he is loved and adored by his family!  He is such a great husband and father - we really lucked out!  Since it was his day - he got to choose whatever he wanted.  He picked a delicious breakfast and The Original Pancake House.  Then we came home where he opened his gifts - Charlie got his some guitar sheet music of nursery rhymes so that they can sing and play together, Carolyn got him Legos, Will picked a game, and then we all got him a fancy beer mug.  He then played video games, followed by a board game (Fortune and Glory).  He picked Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner - which is always yummy.  I sure hope he had a phenomenal day - he deserves every bit of it!

We love you Jacob!!!

Mall of America Visit

The kids have been begging me for a while to head over to the Mall of America for some new Build-A-Bears - especially since there is a minion one that came out recently.  I decided to wait until Grandee was here so that we could go during the week and I could have some help with the kids :D  The kids got to ride a few rides at Nickelodeon Universe too so they had the best day ever!  Carolyn picked Pinkie Pie, Charlie picked Bob the Minion, and Will picked Toothless for their new bears this summer!

The Arb Lego Exhibit

This year, the Arboretum decided to do a Lego exhibit!  They have 13 different Lego designs and had them placed around the walking paths.  They were so neat!  Each one had a little info sheet with how many Legos were used and how long it took to put it together.  Will really enjoyed reading and comparing all the statues. I have no doubt the creator used kragle to make sure they all stayed together!  These were some impressive creations!
