We are MOVED!!!

but not yet settled :) The previous owners left the kitchen and bathrooms and a few other areas pretty dirty so I am cleaning everything before I put anything away. It is going slow what with a toddler demanding my full attention :) So for now, this is what our kitchen looks like - lol (as well as a picture of one of the cabinets showing how they left it):

Things are good though. Will adjusted just fine to his new digs - he didn't miss a beat with his sleeping. It is weird to have him so far away up on the second floor but I will get used to it. It is tiring to walk up and down the stairs to get him though. I am sure it will be easier when I am not pregnant. The dogs are adjusting well also. They really like to eat and tear up the vegetable garden already - boo - so Jake will be putting a fence around it. Hopefully a few things are salvageable by the time he gets that done. A few more things rank higher in my mind :) So far the weather has been beautiful - upper 80's to lower 90's as highs. I love it (and yes, I know it will get much hotter). Will and I went on a walk yesterday and then I busted out his pool for him to cool off in. It was fun for both of us! Our neighborhood pool doesn't open until June 5th so once that opens we will be swimming in that too. I can't wait. We have been crazy busy so far and it will be nice to get back into a normal day for everyone. Here are a few picts of Will in the new house. There are a few taken where he wanted to wear his daddy's socks. I had to roll them a lot so they would not make him trip. It was so cute!

Will and I flew in on Tuesday so that I wouldn't have to make a 10 hour drive by myself with him. That would have been an absolute nightmare! It was a good flight - Will mostly behaved himself - ha! He was so excited to see his daddy! He loved to look at all the planes while we waited in the terminal for our flight.

While my dad and Jake made the trek to our new home with all of our stuff and our dogs, Will and I hung out at my mom's house. They were nice enough to let us impose for a few days. It was fun. I got to hang out with my Papa a few times for some meals. It was all around a nice time there. My mom and I went shopping and bought a few things for Carolyn's room and for Will. She is so generous. Thanks Mom! Will loved playing outside at her house and playing the piano. He is so going to take after his daddy with the music thing :) By the way Dad, you are a trooper as we really truly appreciate what you did for us. We could not have done it without your help.

Okay, I think I am all caught up. I will be sending out an email with our new address and phone numbers this weekend so stay tuned for that. Sorry for such a long post but I had a lot to catch up on :) YAY for Texas - it is good to be back home!

A Little Break from Packing

It is so nice out today so I busted out the kiddie pool. He had a blast climbing in and out and would crack himself up for no reason! All of his swim suits and swim diapers are packed so he went commando. I think he enjoyed that the most - lol :)

I love his baby blue eyes

Body Parts!

He is doing great learning his body parts - of course he will only show you when you ask if he is in the mood - lol :) This is one of my favorite videos (but I really think they are all my faves). It is moods like this that make up for a long day of packing.

Watching Daddy

Jake was mowing the front yard on Sunday and Will watched him out his window the whole time - he would wave at his dad as he made the passes. Too cute!

Here is a cute picture of Will and I taken Thursday night at dinner:

Dinner Last Night

Last night we had a going away dinner with Jake's buddies from a previous job. We went to Olive Garden and we are so appreciative that they did this for us. Here is a group picture!

This is just a cute picture of Will :)

Will helping me take my weekly belly shots - he had to get involved!

A Wonderful Mother's Day!

I have had such a phenomenal day today. I am thankful that I have someone to call me mommy and for my own mom. I am greatful to my husband for all he does for me. It was a great day! I got yummy chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast and then after my parents got here we headed to the Renaissance Festival in Muskogee. It was neat to see all the costumes - one day I will have my very own! I got beautiful roses from my hubby, a mom's necklace from will that is engraved with his name, birthstone and birthday (I will be able to add to it when Carolyn gets here), and a diamond heart necklace from my parents that represents how my love for Will won't diminish when Carolyn gets here - that my heart will just expand. Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful mommy's I know. Here are some picts from the day:

Busy Saturday!

We had two parties to go to today. One was at the Van Glabbeeks for their May birthday celebrations. It was a lot of fun and it was beautiful outside. Will loved playing in the water and kept trying to go after the keg- lol. He is Jake's son no doubt about that. Here are some pictures of that:

Today is also my mom's birthday! Happy Birthday Mom - we love you very much! We celebrated at Los Cabos on the Riverwalk. Here are some pictures from that :

Playing in the yard a few days ago. He did not like it when he got his toes muddy. He cried and cried until I got it off - lol. He also enjoyed picking the flowers - I pretend they were for me:

A messy Friday night dinner - we let him feed himself yogurt and this was the result. He actually got it quit high on the wall as well as down my back. We both got a shower after this one :):
