Things are good though. Will adjusted just fine to his new digs - he didn't miss a beat with his sleeping. It is weird to have him so far away up on the second floor but I will get used to it. It is tiring to walk up and down the stairs to get him though. I am sure it will be easier when I am not pregnant. The dogs are adjusting well also. They really like to eat and tear up the vegetable garden already - boo - so Jake will be putting a fence around it. Hopefully a few things are salvageable by the time he gets that done. A few more things rank higher in my mind :) So far the weather has been beautiful - upper 80's to lower 90's as highs. I love it (and yes, I know it will get much hotter). Will and I went on a walk yesterday and then I busted out his pool for him to cool off in. It was fun for both of us! Our neighborhood pool doesn't open until June 5th so once that opens we will be swimming in that too. I can't wait. We have been crazy busy so far and it will be nice to get back into a normal day for everyone. Here are a few picts of Will in the new house. There are a few taken where he wanted to wear his daddy's socks. I had to roll them a lot so they would not make him trip. It was so cute!
Will and I flew in on Tuesday so that I wouldn't have to make a 10 hour drive by myself with him. That would have been an absolute nightmare! It was a good flight - Will mostly behaved himself - ha! He was so excited to see his daddy! He loved to look at all the planes while we waited in the terminal for our flight.
While my dad and Jake made the trek to our new home with all of our stuff and our dogs, Will and I hung out at my mom's house. They were nice enough to let us impose for a few days. It was fun. I got to hang out with my Papa a few times for some meals. It was all around a nice time there. My mom and I went shopping and bought a few things for Carolyn's room and for Will. She is so generous. Thanks Mom! Will loved playing outside at her house and playing the piano. He is so going to take after his daddy with the music thing :) By the way Dad, you are a trooper as we really truly appreciate what you did for us. We could not have done it without your help.
Okay, I think I am all caught up. I will be sending out an email with our new address and phone numbers this weekend so stay tuned for that. Sorry for such a long post but I had a lot to catch up on :) YAY for Texas - it is good to be back home!
