Carolyn is 3!!

I am just so proud of the little girl she is becoming! I just can't believe my sweet baby girl is 3 years old. She had such a special special day! Grandee and I took her to the American Girl store to pick out her new baby doll that she wanted and then she got to ride a ride at the Nickelodeon Adventure park at the Mall of America. She loved it! Then we celebrated in style with a pink sweet treat party. I loved decorating for it and got some delicious treats for her. This is the first year that she really got that this was her very own birthday and I hope that I really made it special for her!

She was so ecstatic when everyone was singing to her.  So glad I got this on camera.

Now for her stats from her doctor's appointment.  She weighs 35.6 lbs (85%)  and is 39.5 " tall (95%)!  She    is doing perfect! I love my beautiful angel!

Our new patio!

We took advantage of some help watching the kids while Grandee visited and later during Grumpy's visit to put in a patio under the deck in the backyard.  I am so thankful for the help they provided!  I have the best in-laws EVER. The patio is perfect. I plan on getting a sand pit for the kids next spring and a little table and chairs set. The big rectangle is going to be my vegetable bed next year too! I am so excited about that. I am already brainstorming all the fun things I am going to grow. It will be so nice to have homegrown tomatoes again!

It has been beautiful fall weather lately so the kids got to run around outside. I taught them how to roll down the hill in our yard :) It is now their favorite thing to do!
