Growing up

Carolyn is growing so fast! We had THREE milestones today: Her first tooth finally popped through, she took her first crawling step, and she can get to a sitting position from laying down!! WOW!!!

Loving the outside

Will absolutely LOVES being outside so we hang outside as much as possible. Out front he loves the big tree and the water hose. He knows how to spray it and makes a beeline for the nozzle when we open the front door. He is such the little helper - I was watering my flowers and he came and grabbed the nozzle so that he could do it for me (I of course helped him so that I didn't get soaked in the process)! It is awesome - he is just like me :)

The Zoo

This morning we had our family pictures (my 30th b-day, Carolyn's half year and Will's 2yr) - they can be previewed here: Elle Photography. I can't wait to see the rest! Then we decided to head to the zoo. We sure know how to pick the BEST days to go to the zoo. It is always so busy! Jake tells me it is not usually this way and that I just pick special weekends - lol. It was still a blast. Will loved the elephants, zebra's and the giraffe's. He was mesmerized. Carolyn slept through most of it but oh well :) Enjoy the pictures!

I am 30!

I am offically done with my 20's! I am actually excited for it - I can't wait to see what happens. I am expecting some awesome things :) I have had a great day today - got to spend it with my family. Jake even brought me home a cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory - yum! Here are a few pictures of the evening:

A beautiful Saturday

The weather was just so nice on Saturday so we decided to hang out in the backyard some. Will loves to play with his bubble gun - it is a good thing bubble juice is so cheap! Carolyn loves to move anywhere she can get and man - she is quick!
