**Happy Halloween**

Happy Halloween everyone! We hung out at my folks and ate pizza on their porch. We passed out candy and then Grandpa took Will trick or treating to a few neighbors so that he could show off his grandson. Grandpa is so proud of him! Hope everyone had a spooky time :)

Livesay Orchard

Last Sunday we went to a real pumpkin patch in Porter. It was the Livesay Orchard and they take you to the patch and I picked my pumpkin off the vine! That was fun. Will sure didn't like being put down on the ground by that pumpkin! We ended up taking that one home too.

A Spider, a Monk, and a Pirate...

We had an awesome halloween party tonight where Will went as a spider, Jake as a monk, and I as a sassy pirate! Our friends Ben and BJ invited us to their annual costume party. Guess what... Will won 2nd place as best costume!!!! I could not be a more proud momma. It was so cool. He got a ribbon and everything - it will so go in his scrapbook. He actually liked his costume too. He crawled around on the ground looking like a spider. I love my baby spider.

Dang - He did it again :(

We already have another owie:( Will busted his lip open last night and it was awful :( He is okay now and I think I was more traumatized then he was - lol. We had his infant car seat on the ground so he crawled in it. Well it rocked forward so he face planted on the ground right on his mouth. Poor little guy. He got lots of extra hugs and kisses and I told him that now would be the time to ask for a car since I felt so bad - ha! He is so adventurous so I suppose I have quite a bit more bumps and bruises. Lookin forward to it - lol!

Oktoberfest & Will's First Owie

Today we went to Oktoberfest down on the river. Jake, Bert, and I drank some yummy beer while hanging out with some friends of ours. This was the first year Jake and I had been.

Will's First owie :( He fell face first on his poor cheek while cruising aound the sofa. He has a nice big bruise :(

Pumpkin Patch

This evening we met up with my cousin Heather and her family at Carmichael's Pumpkin Patch. Her little girl Audrey is an absolute doll!! Just look at her curls - love 'em. Will got up close to some goats and went on his first hayride! They had some beautiful pumpkins that Will and Audrey got to play in and everyone had fun. Enjoy the pictures!

We have a Tooth!

Will's first tooth finally popped through yesterday! YAY! It is the bottom right one and man is it sharp. It really is cool. He won't let me take a picture of it yet though. I will get it one day though. Now hopefully I will get to cut back on the tylenol I have to give him - atleast until the next one decides to pop through - ha! He also has gotten the hang of finger foods - atleast the getting it in his mouth part. He still prefers purees though but atleast they entertain him enough so that Jake and I can eat a meal together without one of us rushing through it. Enjoy some more pictures of him in the mean time - he loves to pull up on everything and crawls over all the things. Nothing stands in his way!

My Boy is 8 Months Old

He is growing up so fast! My baby is already 8 months old today. I think he weighs around 19 lbs and is about 29" long. I just now switched him into his 9/12 month clothes. He is just so skinny though that his pants don't stay up - lol! he practically pulls them off when he crawls because they get caught up in stride. Will crawls everywhere now! He is quick too. He also cruises around the sofa slowly after he pulls up to it. He needs to slow down I tell ya! Will has also figured out how to open cabinets. We have one in the bathroom that doesn't have anything that will hurt him and he loves to try to get in it. It is cute. His new way to greet me when I go get him from a nap is to be standing in his crib & when he sees me he lights up so big. It melts my heart. My little man also has started to act shy and hide his face in my shoulder when a stranger starts to talk to him directly. He just isn't too sure about them and it is cute to watch. He just started that this last week or so. He is also getting his first tooth! He has the bump and it is white so I am hoping it pops through soon. It is on the lower right side middle. Will is also a really good eater. The only thing he doesn't really like the taste of is avocado but everything else he eats up! He is still on two solid meals a day but I have added a snack in the afternoon of puffs or a baby mum-mum. I just started that this week and he has no clue how to get the puff into his mouth. He gets it into his hand but it gets caught up in his palm so he can't get it into his mouth. The mum-mums are much better but he ends up playing with them instead of eating them. Oh well - I will keep trying. He will eventually get the hang of finger foods. Things I am working on with him are clapping and waving. He knows to open his hand when I clap his hands together but he won't do it himself yet and he just looks at me with the waving. Will is really improving his fine and gross motor skills and his personality is starting to really present itself. I can't wait to see what the next month has to hold for him. He is such a neat little boy.
