Dinner Cruise

I surprised Jake with a Margarita and Fajita dinner boat cruise last night around Lake Minnetonka!  It was a ton of fun!  I highly recommend doing this! We then sang 80's music at the top of our lungs on the way home.  It was a perfect evening!

 This house is the most expensive house on the lake.  It is currently on the market for about $30mil! 

An interesting bit of info - one of the coves that we went into (where all the above homes were) has the most money per capita than the rest of the entire state of Minnesota.  Those are some fancy homes!  I wonder what they all do for a living!

New chalkboard wall!

I have been wanting to do this for a long time now and I figured the beginning of Summer break was perfect!  It was weird to paint a wall black but I like the way it turned out.  Tomorrow we can use it and Carolyn is so excited!  She is my little colorer.

 

Preschool Graduation!

My baby graduated preschool today!  He is officially going to be a kindergartener!   I managed to not cry until I picked him up.  I hugged his teachers and thanked them for being so good and that we would see them next fall with Carolyn.  Will was a little sad too.  They read off some questions they asked the kids.  Will's said that his favorite color was all, his favorite place was Old Chicago's (a restaurant), and that he wanted to be a super hero when he grows up.  It was so cute! For reference, here he is at last years ceremony!

Will's first day of preschool compared to is last!  He is wearing the same jeans so you can tell he totally grew!

Our new toy!

We have been saving giftcards to TRU for the kids and we decided to get them a trampoline with part of it.  We got it put together last night and the kids love it!  Will got to stay up super late while we finished as a special treat.  It was fun to hang out with my little guy and watch Jake work hard!
