Minnesota River Arts Fair
On Saturday, we ventured over to the Minnesota River Arts Fair in Shakopee. We dragged the Bakers along with us - so glad they came! We learned about the history of the houses there and how they did things way back in the day. People were dressed in costume and talked to you about what it was like. This was right up my alley! The kids got to pet a chicken and I got to see how people lived back them. Let's just say I am thankful to live when I do, but I do love learning about how it once was. Damien and Kerridwyn found new friends with my kids :) Damien even tried to teach Will how to play checkers. We also got to ride a horse drawn carriage on our way back to the car. It was a lot of fun!

15 Months old!
My Charlie bug is 15 months old! This is such a fun age. He seems like such a little boy already - not my little baby. /tear. He runs all over and climbs and he absolutely loves to jump! He jumps any chance he gets - it is so cute and he is so proud of himself. He loves to tickle people and give hugs and kisses and he is always smiling. He has 9 teeth in and is working on 3 more molars. They are almost broken through. They have the big blister things on them now so it won't be too long - thank goodness! Charlie is just such a happy baby.
He is also starting to talk! He says:
Mama (YAY!!!!)
Da (for Daddy)
Hi
Bye
Cheese (can you tell I take a ton of photos?)
Go (he says this while pushing you to move - so cute!)
Down
Boom
No
Charlie also signs milk, done, and more. We use milk for when he wants to nurse. He climbs into my lap and starts signing away. He alternates between milk and more while trying to lift up my shirt. It always makes me laugh, He understands so much too. I can tell him to put his bowl in the sink and he does, I can tell him to go upstairs and he will, I tell him to go get his shoes and he goes and sits down in the mud room waiting for me to come put his shoes on. He is just so fun.
He is super healthy at a whopping 28lbs 8oz (95%) and is 33" long (95%). He is just a big little guy and I love him so much!

Pool time!
It was another warm day yesterday so we got out the pool and let the kids play while we grilled some food. The water coming out of the tap here is freezing cold - it makes condensation on the hose as it comes out! Next time we need to get the pool out in the morning and let the water warm up some. The kids had a ton of fun regardless of the cold water and the splashed kept me cool so it was a win-win!

Movie Night! We introduced Will to Spiderman. He loved it!

Happy Independence Day!
We had a hot but fun day! It was 98 outside with heat indexes close to 110. It was insanely hot for here. We had a lot of fun though! We went to the local Chaska event. They had a magician, face painting, free ice cream, petting zoo - all the things! The kids had a lot of fun. After naptime we headed over to the van Glabbeek's. We always have a good time over there :) Awesome day!
