Some random pictures

We have had a pretty chill January so far!  Just trying to stay warm to during this bitter cold winter.  Here are some random pictures I have taken :D
A cool full moon from in the morning last week.

 He loves the babydolls.
 My beautiful daughter!
Helping to rice the cauliflower.  He loves to do this!

Some of the homemade fruit snacks we made on Thursday!
Daddy and Carolyn coloring together - so sweet!
Helping me make chili this morning
Will's schoolwork (it says "be nice")
We came home from an errand to find us blocked out of the driveway because the street-plows threw 2 feet of snow onto the base of the driveway.  Jake had to make a path so we could drive in.
 Building some Goldiblox
Just a typical Friday afternoon.  It was snowing pretty heavily but it was warm so we went out.

Another morning of sledding!

After surviving the arctic weather we had early last week, we just had to get outside and play today!  It felt good!
 Someone got a new toy!!!!
He was upset that he couldn't push the cozy-coop in the snow.

Carolyn and her art

I have a little artist on my hands!  Her latest thing to do is to write stories or invitations.  Here are a few she has made in the last couple of days.  I love it!

We watched a lot of Wizard of Oz last week and Carolyn asked me to show her pictures of a tornado on my computer.  We talked about how powerful and destructive they were so she decided to draw a picture of a house being hit by a tornado:

Happy New Year!

We ended 2013 with some of very best friends with a big slumber party at their house! It was so much fun and this way we had no worries about drunk drivers on the roads. We set the kids up in the basement in front of the tv while the adults stayed on the main floor playing games :D  We let the kids stay up as late as they wanted and Will stayed up the latest - he hung in there until 11:30!  So close! I think this is the first time in years that Jake and I made it to midnight ourselves.  Night owls we are not! In the morning, we had a wonderful breakfast complete with Mimosas.  What an amazing way  to start a new year!  The first official Wagner/ van Glabbeek slumber party was a success!
