We had a great day! The snow started falling early and continued throughout the day. The kids went out multiple times to play and Jake and I worked in the kitchen. It was fun! We make a great team and for that I am thankful! I tried a different turkey method this year, courtesy of Alton Brown. Man, it was delicious! I have a new way to make my turkey. All the food was good and we were stuffed! Thankful for of my family and friends!
Sledding
Of course we had to have hot cocoa!
The delicious turkey!

From Carolyn:
Carolyn reciting the story she learned at school with her bracelet she made:
Today was Will's hoe down! It was so fun. Will was so excited and they worked very hard on their dances. He was a little nervous leading up to it since he has missed so much school, but he did an awesome job! His partner was Delina and they were both so cute! He asked to borrow his Daddy's cowboy hat for the dance and he rocked it. The entire grade all got bandannas to wear and of course, he picked yellow! I will say though that Will is a trooper. His throat was hurting him really bad all day long (thankfully not strep, just a sore throat with no fever). He said that if he felt better, he totally would have sung! Here he is dancing away!
We used the same photographer that we used last year and I am not as in love with them as much. The kids were crazy! So I imagine it was just hard to get good shots. Oh well! We will do more bribing next year :D
The vG's had the slot in front of ours so we ended up getting a great shot of the kids together!
