Sprinkler Time

Sunday was wonderful! We had Ben, BJ, and Ava over. The adults played a board game while the kids played all around us. It was a lot of fun. It was also really nice outside (lower 70's) so I turned the sprinkler on. OMG - that water was SO COLD! It was super fun though. Will had such a fun day that he actually fell asleep eating dinner - it was hysterical - he had never done that before!

It was in the upper 60's on Friday so we made a beeline for the park - and we were the only ones there! It is so neat to see how different my kids are - I love it.

Movie Night

Saturday was family movie night for the first time! Jake came up with it since it was his Father"s Day weekend- and yes, he got the whole weekend because he totally deserves it for being such an amazing daddy to our kids :) We had all kinds of movie theater food - rotel dip, popcorn, and candy (I threw in some fruit for the kids too - oh - and wine for Jake and I). The best part was wearing our pajamas! We let Will pick the flick and he picked Cars. I had never seen the beginning so it was perfect. Here are some pictures. We will definitely be doing this more often.

Will is such a hoot

Yesterday I can officially say that I was embarrassed by one of my children for the first time in public :)

A little back story: Every now and then I will say "Hey sexy" to Jake. Well every time I do, Will gets really upset and starts yelling at me that Daddy isn't sexy so I argue with him a little bit (because it is so fun to do) and then I ask him "Well then, what is Daddy?". He always says "He is Super Daddy" (guess who trained him on that - lol).

Okay, on to the story: Yesterday in Target we had this conversation:

Jake: There is Super Mommy (when I met up with them)
Will: She is not super, she is not Super Mommy (yelling this pretty loudly)
me: Well then what am I?
Will: You are not Super, you are sexy. Mommy is sexy. Daddy is Super Daddy. (as loud as possible)

Needless to say I was bright red. Awesome times :)

The stats are in!

Charlie is one big healthy boy! He weighs 14lbs 9.5oz (literally off the charts - so more than 100%) and is 24" long (90%). No wonder he fits firmly in his 6 month clothes already. He is doing great. He got lots of shots today and only cried until I could pick him up - my poor little guy. I always hate that part. We are keeping him on the reflux meds since they are working - which is great. Charlie has a big red mark on the back of his head that I learned was a birthmark. He is the first of my kids to have one! He also apparantly has a clogged tear duct in his right eye which the doctor says should clear up on its owned by the time he is a year old. It isn't painful to him, just makes his eye super goopy when he sleeps. It was a good appointment an we go back in August!

Charlie is 2 months old

And he is such a joy! I love his little smile and his little chuckle that he does. It is seriously the sweetest thing. He is pretty easy to get to smile too - he loves when his mommy and daddy talk to him. About two weeks ago I finally got him into the doctor for reflux and we got him on some meds and that help him so much - the poor little guy. He weighed a whopping 13lbs 5oz already! What a big boy! He hates the medicine he got though but we get most of it down him. We have also moved him into his crib instead of our bed. We all sleep better this way. He wakes me up usually twice to eat and it is so nice. Before we got him the meds he was eating every two hours just to make himself feel better so you can imagine what a relief this is for everyone. I take him to the doctor for his 2 month check up on Friday so I don't have any current stats but once I will get them I will post :) I am so in love with my son. He is such a precious little guy.

It has been a while!

Sorry I have been MIA for so long. We got busy and then my back went out (which is very interesting with 3 little ones) so I put off the blog because I couldn't sit :) Anywho - here are some videos of my darling crew!
