Carolyn got her first haircut!

Her hair was deceivingly long! It was a little longer than the middle of her back but since we had not cut it yet, it was very uneven. I finally sucked it up and took her in. She did so well too! She watched Elmo and played with a Strawberry Shortcake doll. My baby is growing up! Will also got a haircut at the same time and he now matched his daddy :)

Charlie is 10 months old

He is growing like a weed! He is so close to walking. He will walk holding on to my pants and he is just so proud of himself when he does. He grins so big. It won't be too much longer until he is walking all by himself! He is even started to stand by himself. It is just for a few seconds so I haven't got it on film yet - but I am trying! His hands are all healed up now and you can't even tell anything happened. There are a few pink spots that will fade with time but that is it! He is cutting his two top middle teeth - they are barely broken through. He will have 5 teeth total when those come down all the way. Thankfully he quit biting while nursing ;)
Sorry so late in posting this. We had our first bout with RSV right when he turned 10 months so we have been busy. Poor little guy. That was no fun - he was not a fan of the breathing treatments at all so the kids and I would sing to him while he was in my lap and that calmed him down enough to let me give him his treatments. We also learned that he had 2 raging ear infections and they gave him amoxicillin. Unfortunately about 2 days later he was covered in what I though was a rash so back to the pediatrician we went. Turns out my baby was covered in hives! He is in fact allergic to the amoxicillin :( We ended up switching his meds and went from there. He had the hives for a few days and I had to give him benedryl to keep them much smaller. I said it before and I will say it again - Charlie is such a trooper!

Happy 4th Birthday Will!

I fondly remember the day he was born and how excited (and tired) I was. I wildly love my little boy and the person he is becoming. He is very fun and passionate and emotional. I love watching him express himself. He has so much love for his family :heart: He is just so special.

He rocked his 4 year appointment. He weighs in at 36.6lbs (60%) & is 41" tall (70%). They tested his hearing and vision and he passed both with flying colors. He didn't have any shots this go around so that was nice. The doctor said h is doing great!

We had an awesome low-key day for his birthday since he was sick - boo. He had a pretty bad fever, cough, and runny nose. I put up birthday banners, balloons, and streamers for him and he loved that. I decorated his door the night before with streamers and balloons to surprise him in the morning and he was so excited to see that. He was thrilled that they were in his favorite colors! We took him to lunch to Old Chicago's so he could get pepperoni pizza at his request. He was so excited to tell the waitress he was 4 years old and showed off his shirt to her - lol. Oh and then he decided he needed to pull down his pants in the middle of the restaurant. OMG - I just about died. Thankfully he didn't pull his underwear down too. I just have no idea what he was thinking. He is all boy! He loved his Cars cake that he had later on and after that, present time! He loved all of it :) I got a Lightening McQueen pinata too and Will could hardly wait to get that thing open. Jake held it up while the kids pulled on the strings. They didn't really know what to do though when it opened up. They just kind of stood there and looked. When I told them to get some candy they both grabbed one piece. They eventually got it and got tons of candy (which means I do too - yay)! McQueen is now resting on Will's dresser. It was a lot of fun.
